The Dalí Triangle in 2 days from Figueres
Figueres, Portlligat and Púbol are home to the three museums of the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation. The Foundation itself suggests at least two days to see them all, and the Hotel Plaza Inn, 50 m from the first, is the obvious place to stay.

What the triangle is
Three museums, one two-day plan
The Dalí Theatre-Museum is in Figueres; the Salvador Dalí House-Museum is in Portlligat (Cadaqués), where Dalí and Gala lived; and the Gala Dalí Castle, which Dalí gave to Gala, is in Púbol. Figueres sits in the middle, 40 km from each. Day 1: the museum, Dalí Jewels, his birthplace and the Rambla, then back to the hotel for the night. Day 2: Portlligat and Cadaqués first, then Púbol, or the other way round if you are heading on to Girona or Barcelona.
Tips for visiting the museumHow to get to each museum
Portlligat and Cadaqués
By car or taxi, just under an hour. Without a car, take the Sarfa bus from Figueres bus station (about 1 hour), then walk to Portlligat. Visits are in small groups, so book ahead at salvador-dali.org.
Figueres as a base for the Costa Brava
If you want some beach time too, Figueres also works as a starting point for Cadaqués, Roses and the rest of the Alt Empordà.
